I'd like to begin with the fact that the iGo Banking name is a new brand in the banking arena. Rest assure they are FDIC insured. There's no information if there's needs to be a checking account minimum balance requirement to earn the 2.65% APY.
They do offer a MasterCard debit card along with access to ATMs that are part of the Allpoint network - meaning you're likely to get dinged with heavy ATM fees if you're not using an ATM within the Allpoint network.
With so many offers these days, I don't see this one as sticking out. Are you really going to go through the hassle of opening a new online checking account just to attempt to get a free $50 gas card?
Advice - Save your time and don't bother. There's plenty of other checking accounts online that offer much, much more.
